
Xu Jianfeng, 27, and his wife, Shi Qian, 28, pleaded guilty after the charge was read to them before judge Ahmad Fuad Othman, Bernama reported.
According to the charge sheet, Xu and Shi, who were at Gate Q5 of the terminal, deliberately caused disturbance by engaging in obscene behaviour in a public place by removing their clothing.
The charge was framed under Section 294(a) of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum sentence of three months’ imprisonment, a fine, or both, upon conviction.
Deputy public prosecutor Nurul Faraheen Yahya led the prosecution, while Xu and Shi were represented by lawyer Chew Sin Yee.
The judge allowed the couple bail of RM5,000 each in one surety after Chew requested a reasonable amount.
The court set Feb 17 for remention of the case and sentencing.
