Foreigner falls to death from 39th floor of KL serviced apartment

A foreign man was found dead after reportedly falling from the 39th floor of a serviced apartment block along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur.

Dang Wangi police chief Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said members of the public alerted the police after the body was found on the ground floor at around 7.40am on Monday.

“Police conducted an investigation at the scene, and the man’s remains were sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem.

“At this stage, the case is classified as sudden death,” Sulizmie said in a brief statement.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, 29, resided in one of the apartment units. No note was found at the scene.

A viral video circulated on social media showed a body on the ground floor near the building, with authorities present at the scene.
