
PETALING JAYA: Four men were left wounded after being hacked by a group of masked men using parangs at a restaurant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, last night.
In the incident which took place at about 9.40pm, a group of five men believed to be Malaysians emerged from a vehicle outside the restaurant and attacked the victims, who had been having a drink.
Nilai police chief Abdul Malik Hasim said the victims, aged 44 to 59, were taken to Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban for treatment, Harian Metro reported.
All four are in stable condition. The motive of the attack remains under investigation.
The case is being investigated under Sections 148 and 326 of the Penal Code for rioting with a weapon and voluntarily causing hurt using a dangerous weapon.
