
Abang Johari said the process, which was supposed to be completed this year, was extended to give the auditors time to examine the valuations of MASwings’ assets submitted by the Sarawak government and Malaysia Aviation Group.
“We have our own valuation and they have their own valuation. So we need to ask a third party to estimate the value of MASwings’ assets.
“It should have been completed this month but (was not) due to the difference in valuations,” Bernama quoted him as telling reporters in Kuching today.
The international destinations chosen by Sarawak’s airline following the acquisition of MASwings include Germany, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
