PETALING JAYA:
Techpreneur Dr Wan Hasifi Amin Wan Zaidon says he has no intention of contesting the post of PKR Youth chief in the upcoming party elections.

Wan Hasifi, who was listed in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” in Asia in 2020, yesterday expressed his intention to run for a leadership position in PKR Youth during next year’s party polls.

Wan Hasifi said he is seeking a position that would allow him to contribute his expertise to PKR at the central level.

“I have not made a final decision on which position to contest. What is certain is that I am not going to contest for PKR Youth chief,” he told FMT.

PKR will hold elections after the current leadership’s mandate ends next May.

Wan Hasifi yesterday explained that his decision to venture into politics was aimed at engaging with the youth and changing the political landscape.
