PETALING JAYA: Sarawak police have arrested two men suspected of accessing child pornography websites and possessing related videos in two separate cases in Bintulu and Miri.
Sarawak police commissioner Mancha Ata said the duo were nabbed following information received in April and November, the Borneo Post reported. However, it did not say when the arrests took place.
The case is being investigated under Section 10 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which deals with accessing and possessing child sexual abuse materials.
If convicted, the duo could be imprisoned for up to five years or fined RM10,000, or both.
