It is understood that the blue suitcase was locked and tied with a red strap, reported Harian Metro.

A video on social media showed flies and maggots around the zipper of the suitcase.

Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the discovery when contacted but declined to comment further.

He said Kajang police would release more information on the incident later.
