Amirudin reappointed Selangor PH chairman

Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari has been reappointed the state’s Pakatan Harapan chairman for the 2024-2025 term.

Amirudin has been the Selangor PH chairman since 2020.

Ng Sze Han and Izham Hashim have been named his deputies, while Borhan Aman Shah, V Ganabatirau and Azli Yusof will serve as vice-chairmen.

The appointments were made during the state chapter’s annual general meeting yesterday.

Selangor PH information chief Abbas Azmi said the new leadership is committed to tackling divisive politics and racial tensions that can harm the state’s development and hinder the future generations’ progress towards becoming a united and skilled workforce.

“At the same time, this leadership will ensure Selangor PH remains the leading force in the state government, dedicated to serving the people of Selangor with effective policies and initiatives,” he said in a statement.

In line with the formation of unity governments at both the federal and state levels, he said, Selangor PH is resolute in working with Barisan Nasional to govern effectively and prepare for the upcoming elections.
