PETALING JAYA:
Seven foreign nationals have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old man in Telok Panglima Garang, Kuala Langat, yesterday.

Kuala Langat acting police chief Sufian Amin said police received a report from a woman who found the victim lying on the ground yesterday evening, Sinar Harian reported.

“Medical officers from Banting Hospital confirmed the victim died at the scene from a stab wound to his left rib,” he said.

Sufian said a review of CCTV footage from the area showed the victim struggling with one of the suspects, who then used a knife to stab him before fleeing the scene.

The men were arrested at 9pm yesterday.

The suspects, aged 30 to 49, will be remanded for six days until next Monday.

They are being investigated for murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

“Police are still investigating the motive behind the incident and the suspects’ involvement,” he said.

He urged those with information on the case to contact the Kuala Langat police headquarters’ operations room at 03-3187 2222 or the nearest police station.
