Azmi Kassim is new Bukit Aman internal security chief

He was appointed as the director of the federal police's management department in April last year.

PETALING JAYA:
Bukit Aman management department director Azmi Kassim will take over as head of the federal police’s internal security and public order department next month.

Azmi, a former Kuala Lumpur police chief, has been leading the federal police’s management department since April last year.

He will be replacing Yusoff Mamat, who was previously the acting head of the internal security and public order department before being made Kelantan police chief.

In a statement, Bukit Aman said Azmi’s appointment is effective Dec 16. It did not announce Azmi’s replacement in the management department.
