Bukit Aman traffic investigation and enforcement department director Yusri Hassan Basri said police have received a report on the incident, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“The department is conducting an investigation into the matter. Members of the public who have any information are urged to come forward to assist with the investigation,” he was quoted as saying.

Earlier today, a dashcam video went viral, showing a police vehicle escorting a VIP crashing into the rear of another car during heavy rain.

In the footage, the escort vehicle can be seen speeding before the collision.
