PETALING JAYA: Police have confirmed that an explosion occurred at Taman OUG in Kuala Lumpur this morning, though details are still scant.
In a brief statement to the media, Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa said the case is under investigation.
Earlier, The Star reported that the explosion was heard by residents at about 4am. It was said to have occurred at a complex across from the Bukit OUG condominium.
There was heavy police presence in the area this morning.
