PETALING JAYA: An autistic teenager who was reported missing since leaving his house in Muar on Saturday was found drowned at a jetty this morning.
District police chief Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said the boy’s father had reported that his 14-year-old son, who has been diagnosed with hyperactive autism, frequently left their home in Bakri without his knowledge.
The father, who is visually impaired, said that he last saw his son at around 11.30pm on Saturday.
Raiz said the boy’s body was found in the sea near the Marina Bay jetty this morning. Police have ruled out foul play.
