KUALA LUMPUR: Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, wife of the prime minister, was recovering today after undergoing a medical procedure at the Sultan Idris Shah Hospital in Serdang.
Hospital director Dr Farique Rizal Abdul Hamid said in a statement tonight that Wan Azizah is in good condition but still requires close monitoring by the medical team.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim posted a photograph of him with his wife at the hospital, with the caption “Through thick and thin together!”, calling for prayers for her swift recovery.
