PETALING JAYA: A BMW caught fire on the Kesas Highway this afternoon but its driver escaped unscathed.
The Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department said it received a call at 12.17pm and deployed a team from the Bukit Jalil fire and rescue station to the scene.
The fire was put out 12 minutes later but the i8 hybrid sports car was completely destroyed, it said.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
