
PETALING JAYA: A road in Cameron Highlands has been partially closed after a landslide in the area.
Cameron Highlands police chief Azri Ramli said no casualties were reported and cleanup efforts are under way.
In a statement, Azri said police received a call at around 11am about the landslide at Km76 of Jalan Besar Brinchang, near Agro Market.
One of the vehicles parked along the road was crushed by an electricity pole.
In a Facebook post, Tanah Rata assemblyman Ho Chi Yang said one lane of the road was now partially open.
He said the public works department was expected to open both lanes by 4pm.
