Driver hurt as car plunges off 1st-floor car park

Police said the 19-year-old accidentally pressed on the accelerator when leaving the car park at the Terminal One building in Seremban.

SEREMBAN:
A 19-year-old man sustained head injuries today when he accidentally drove his car off a first floor car park, crashing the vehicle on another car parked at the lower level.

Seremban police chief Hatta Che Din said the driver pressed the accelerator by mistake when leaving the parking area of the Terminal One building at about 11.45am.

“The Honda City crashed through a metal barrier and plunged below, landing on the front of an empty parked car,” he said in a statement today. The injured driver was taken to hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information on the accident is urged to contact the police to assist with the investigation.
