AMPANG: The sessions court here has fixed Oct 11 for mention of a case involving a clerk charged with committing incest with his 17-year-old stepdaughter.
Sessions court judge Norshila Kamaruddin fixed the new date today following a request by the prosecution.
“The prosecution needs a new case mention date for the submission of a medical report from Ampang Hospital,” deputy public prosecutor Norhashimah Hashim told the court.
The accused, who was represented by lawyer Ainul Azwan, had pleaded not guilty in the sessions court here in May to a charge of committing incest with his stepdaughter.
The offence was allegedly committed at a flat on May 20 and 21.
