Foreigner trapped in 8m sinkhole in front of Masjid India

Efforts are under way to rescue the woman, an Indian national who fell in this morning.

PETALING JAYA:
An Indian national was trapped in an eight-metre sinkhole after it opened up in front of Jalan Masjid India in Kuala Lumpur this morning.

The fire and rescue department said it was informed of the incident at 8.22am, which saw the 48-year-old woman falling into the sinkhole and buried underground.

A search and rescue operation is underway.
