Body found floating in Serendah’s Perigi Tujuh

The case has been classified as sudden death.

Police said there were no signs of any wounds on the 48-year-old woman.

A woman was found dead at the Perigi Tujuh recreational area in Serendah, Hulu Selangor, yesterday.

Hulu Selangor police chief Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said police were informed of the matter at 10.50am yesterday after a body was found floating in the tourist attraction featuring seven wells, clothed in jeans and a t-shirt.

There were no signs of any wounds on the 48-year-old woman.

“The body has been sent to Kuala Kubu Baharu Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death. The case has been classified as sudden death,” he said in a statement.
