The former Gua Musang PAS Youth deputy chief said favouritism has no place in his books when it comes to serving the people.
“I will treat everyone equally, regardless of their party affiliation, be it Umno or (any other party from) Pakatan Harapan. We, in PN, stand for everyone and have no enemies in any party.
“Once elected, I will represent all the people in Nenggiri, not just PAS, Bersatu, or PN supporters,” he told FMT.
He was also confident that the ousting of Nenggiri’s former representative Azizi Abu Naim from Bersatu would not affect support from voters, whom he said remain loyal to PN.
On contesting the seat as a PN candidate from Bersatu, he said he was comfortable doing so as the coalition would be campaigning under the PAS logo, with all component members working towards the same goal.
“There is no difference between the struggles of Bersatu and PAS because we are all part of PN,” he said, adding that he enjoys a good relationship with Barisan Nasional candidate Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani and that they only compete in the political ring.
Asked about his advantage over the Barisan Nasional candidate, Rizwadi said he was capable of shouldering the responsibilities and trust given to him.
“I am young, so I can certainly get the job done. I will also focus on welfare work because I am familiar with it.
“During my time in the PAS Youth machinery, I often worked with the people through my involvement in ‘halaqat’ (community outreach programmes),” he said.
