PETALING JAYA:
Several power disruptions are occurring across Ampang and Klang due to problems at the substations in Pandan Maju and Kota Kemuning, respectively, says Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB).

In a post on the TNB CareLine Facebook page, the company said technical teams have been dispatched to restore electricity supply.

“Your patience is appreciated, and we apologise for any inconvenience,” the company said.

On June 9, a TNB substation next to the Jesus Caritas Catholic Church in Kepong caught fire.

The church was not affected and there were no casualties, according to a fire and rescue department spokesman.

The substation supplied power to the church and other parts of the Jalan Kepong Baru area.

Meanwhile, TNB chief grid officer Hasmarizal Hassan announced at 5.04pm that power was restored to the affected area at 1.04pm.

He said technical teams are still present at the areas to monitor the situation.
