“Acting on intelligence reports, a team of policemen successfully arrested three men at 11.50pm on April 7. This led to the arrest of four more men believed to be involved in the robbery.
“Five suspects are on remand until April 11 while two others have been remanded until April 12,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Sections 395 and 170 of the Penal Code for gang robbery and impersonating a public servant, respectively.
