IPOH:
Perak police are investigating the distribution of business cards offering unlicensed money lending and online gambling services at the Ramadan bazaar near the Ipoh Stadium.

Perak police chief Yusri Hassan Basri said their investigation revealed that three men were involved in this activity over the past few days.

In a statement, he said one of the traders had recorded the activities of the suspects yesterday.

According to Yusri, the 61-second recording showed a man distributing the business cards at every stall at the Ramadan bazaar.

He said police interviewed the trader and obtained more details on the suspects’ activity.

“No police reports have been received from any party so far, but the investigation is still under way,” he said.

Yesterday, a video showing the distribution of the business cards went viral on social media.
