In a statement, its CEO, K Pathmanathan, said the water disruption on Dec 21 would affect 9,000 accounts in the area from 9am to 9pm.
The water cuts are to allow the diversion of two major water supply pipelines in the area as a flyover is being built as part of the undersea tunnel and roads project.
“Pipelines that have been diverted must be connected in order to ensure good water supply services during and after the flyover construction process.
“This is a 12-hour scheduled water supply interruption. All domestic premises should be equipped with internal water tanks to store sufficient water supply for 24-hour use,” said Pathmanathan.
