He claimed this “traitor” was caught in the act when he called a Bersatu MP to solicit support for the prime minister.
“He spoke (on the phone) so confidently with that MP without realising that he was at a meeting with us. When the MP handed the phone to the opposition leader, he was startled.

On his earlier claim that ex-PKR leader Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak was involved in enticing MPs to back the government, Wan Fayhsal said he was merely reading out a police complaint filed by a Bersatu Youth leader.
Wan Fayhsal said since Farhash had denied this claim, the onus was now on the police to investigate and clear his name.
He also welcomed Farhash to lodge a police report.
Farhash, a former political aide to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, denied Wan Fayhsal’s claims and said he was no longer involved in politics.
He has since threatened to sue Wan Fayhsal for defamation.
