Amirudin said that his administration has decided to declassify the report into the tragedy.
“Of course (the owner) would be identified,” he told reporters here.
The landslide, which occurred at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor, also injured 61 people.
Preliminary findings by the works ministry showed that tension cracks that stretched along the road running above the hill slope and the accumulation of underground water beneath the campsite had likely caused the landslide.
It was previously reported that a preliminary report had been presented to the Cabinet on Jan 4.
Amirudin went on to say that the relevant authorities could take further action based on the declassified report, which he described as “very technical”.
The report will be published on the National Disaster Management Agency’s website.
Last year, local government development minister Nga Kor Ming revealed that the three campsites were unlicensed.
He also confirmed that the operators were permitted to run the organic farm but had not put in an application to set up campsites.
