
He noted that housing in Pulai, which is located in the middle of Johor Bahru, required close attention.
“The Pulai parliamentary constituency has four large People’s Housing Projects (PPR) in Kempas, Melana, Uda Utama, and Perling that require attention due to the high population in those areas,” he said in a Berita Harian report.
“Many issues such as housing and infrastructure need to be addressed, especially parking, elevators, roads and drainage – which make up the bulk of the grievances of residents in these areas.”
He added that education, social welfare, and human capital development were also key areas that he would focus on.
Suhaizan faces a three-cornered fight against Zulkifli Jaafar of Perikatan Nasional and independent candidate Samsudin Fauzi.
The seat was vacated following the death of its incumbent, Salahuddin Ayub, on July 23.
