PETALING JAYA:
The government will offer support to the families of the 10 victims of the air crash at Bandar Elmina in Shah Alam yesterday.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said assistance for funeral arrangements, accommodation and related matters will be provided once forensic procedures have concluded.

“After that, everything else will be managed by the government, whether by the religious authorities, the Selangor government, or relevant departments.

“Both the federal and state governments will help ease the burden faced by the victims’ families,” he told reporters at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang today.

The Beechcraft Model 390 aircraft, with eight people on board, including two crew members, crashed on the Guthrie Highway at about 2.50pm yesterday.
