PETALING JAYA:
Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) is confident of a Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional win in the Selangor state election, says senior GPS leader Fadillah Yusof.

Fadillah, a senior vice-president of GPS lynchpin Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), said PH, BN, GPS and other partners in the federal government have been successful in establishing stability in the country, in particular political stability.

“What we experienced with the change of governments and the political instability had affected our country’s economic standing. The country couldn’t develop and help its people.

“That’s why we must realise that stability is at the core of everything, and it means we need to unite. Establishing stability is most vital for all Malaysians,” Bernama quoted the deputy prime minister as saying at a PH-BN “grand finale” ceramah at Ampang, Selangor, last night.

Also present were PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim and his BN counterpart, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

PH-BN can win two-thirds majority in three states, says Rafizi

PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said PH-BN is set to win a two-thirds majority in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan, citing a PH survey.

He said PH-BN only risked losing three to four seats in Negeri Sembilan to Perikatan Nasional, adding that they had secured the support of 55% of the Malay voters there.

Speaking at a ceramah in Negeri Sembilan, Rafizi disclosed that the survey was based on phone calls to registered voters.

He said 40% of the Malay voters supported PN while the remaining 5% were undecided.

He also said 90% of the non-Malay votes in the state would go to PH-BN.
