The anti-graft agency had raided Invoke in November, prior to the 15th general election (GE15).

In a Facebook post, Tasek Gelugor MP Wan Saiful Wan Jan asked if MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki had met Rafizi over the case after the PKR deputy president became a minister.

“Why did this case disappear from the radar? Why are there no updates on this investigation? Or has the case been closed after Rafizi became a minister?”

During a ceramah in November for the GE15 campaign, Rafizi claimed MACC had raided Invoke’s office after an NGO lodged a report against him over his declaration of assets.

The Pandan MP was then quoted by the media as saying that Pakatan Harapan would go after Azam for alleged “political persecution” in raiding Invoke.

Azam later denied that MACC had raided Invoke’s office and reportedly said “we just came by with three or four officers, interviewed the staff and took some related financial documents and left”.

Rafizi later said the unity government will not go after Azam but will focus on ensuring the independence of the anti-graft agency.
