“We (the unity government) have brought inflation down to 2.4% in seven to eight months, (but) does PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang have his own economic plan? Do they (PN) have any plan?

“They talk about the price of chicken, this and that, but do they ever tell you what they are going to do? No, they don’t,” he said at a Jelajah Madani event in Sungai Tua here last night.

The Subang MP said PN, especially PAS, does not have the ability to manage the poverty rate and GDP in the states it led.

He cited Selangor’s GDP of RM430 billion, 14 times larger than Kelantan’s RM30 billion.

“Come election day on Aug 12, ladies and gentlemen, you need to ask yourselves, do you want Selangor’s economy to shrink 14-fold? If not, reject PN and vote for Pakatan Harapan and the unity government,” he said.
