
Apologising for the breakdown, highway operator Lingkaran Trans Kota Holdings Bhd (Litrak) said traffic is moving slowly in both directions, and advised motorists to use the Touch ‘n Go lanes.
Touch ‘n Go said on its Facebook page that motorists are advised to use their Touch ‘n Go card during this period and ensure they have sufficient balance before starting their journey.
Meanwhile, social media users said Touch ‘n Go’s e-wallet service was also down.
Some reported that they were logged out of the app and were unable to log back in due to the high volume of traffic.
Touch ‘n Go said it was experiencing a “technical issue” and working to rectify the matter.
