KUALA LUMPUR: The toll holiday for all vehicles on 33 highways throughout the country ended yesterday. However, the highways will be toll-free again on Monday (April 24).
The Malaysian Highway Authority, in an announcement tonight, urged road users to have sufficient balance on their Touch & Go cards and e-wallets before entering the highways.
The toll holiday from April 19 to April 21 and on April 24 was announced by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim last week as part of the Rahmah initiative to lower the cost of living.
