“Muhyiddin has been told to go to MACC’s headquarters, and we expect him to be arrested (today) and charged in court tomorrow,” Razali told reporters gathered outside the headquarters here.
“We consider this inhumane as the party is having its elections tomorrow, and Parliament is also in session.”
Razali said the action taken by MACC against the former prime minister seemed to be carried out just to “destroy Perikatan Nasional (PN) and prevent Bersatu from contesting in the six state elections”.
Muhyiddin, who is PN chairman, is expected to arrive at the MACC headquarters soon ahead of an 11am meeting with the anti-graft agency.
Other Bersatu leaders present outside the MACC headquarters were deputy president Ahmad Faizal Azumu, Supreme Council member Azmin Ali, and youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.
Razali said he expected “all PN MPs” to arrive at the MACC headquarters in a show of support for Muhyiddin.

Meanwhile, Azmin said he was confident Muhyiddin was innocent and “should not be charged for any offence”.
Bersatu’s accounts were frozen by MACC a month ago under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (Amla).
Last month, Bersatu’s Tasek Gelugor MP Wan Saiful Wan Jan was charged with accepting a RM6.9 million bribe and soliciting an unspecified amount over a RM232 million road project linked to the Jana Wibawa programme.
Segambut Bersatu deputy chief Adam Radlan Adam Muhammad has also been slapped with five charges of soliciting and accepting bribes over projects involving Jana Wibawa.
