In GE15 held on Nov 19, BN won 16 state seats in Pahang, while Perikatan Nasional took 17 and PH eight.

Wan Rosdy urged the party machinery to be more aggressive and meet as many voters as possible, especially youths, to ensure a victory for BN in Tioman.
The election for the state seat had been postponed to Dec 7 following the death of PN candidate Yunus Ramli, 61, in the early hours of polling day.
The seat will witness a five-cornered fight among Nor Idayu Hashim of PN, Johari Hussain (BN), Osman A Bakar (Pejuang), Sulaiman Bakar (independent) and Fadzli Ramli (PH).
PH has since agreed to make way for the BN candidate to increase his chances of winning, but the PH candidate’s name will still be on the ballot papers.
