SHAH ALAM: A man in his 50s was found drowned in a river near Pandamaran Jaya, Klang, this afternoon.
Selangor fire and rescue department director Norazam Khamis said 10 firemen were sent to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 10.34am from a witness who saw the man struggling in the water, desperately seeking help before drowning.
“They dived into the river and recovered the victim’s body.
“The victim was confirmed dead at the scene,” Norazam said, adding that police did not find identification papers on him.
