Johor holiday on Sunday after JDT reach Malaysia Cup final

Johor menteri besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi has announced a special state holiday on Sunday after Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) reached the final of the Malaysia Cup.

The final, which will see JDT going up against Selangor FC, will be played on Saturday at the Bukit Jalil national stadium.

In a Facebook post, Onn Hafiz said the state holiday was to show appreciation for Johoreans’ support for JDT, also known as the “Southern Tigers”.

“Let us all go to the Bukit Jalil stadium tomorrow to continue showing our support for JDT,” he said.
