
In a statement, Rafizi said this was to avoid any risk of provocation.
He also advised supporters to be careful with media statements issued by other political leaders.
“Be careful with any content or messages on social media that can cause concern or be used as an excuse for provocation.
“We must all move forward and learn to cooperate to rebuild Malaysia for the sake of the future and prosperity of every Malaysian,” he said.
Rafizi pointed out that PH and PKR leaders have not issued any statement amid efforts to form the unity government, since the election results were out.
He urged Malaysians, PH supporters and their political comrades to respect the “desperate need” to ensure harmony at this time.
Earlier, Istana Negara confirmed that Anwar will be appointed the country’s 10th prime minister. He will be sworn in at 5pm today.
