Their daughter is injured and admitted to hospital.

Police said the car driver lost control while taking a corner and was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
KOTA TINGGI:
A man and his wife died while their three-year-old daughter sustained injuries when the car they were travelling in met with an accident at Km46 of Jalan Johor Bahru-Mersing here today.

Kota Tinggi district police chief Hussin Zamora said the couple was on their way to vote when the accident happened.

He said the accident, involving the car and a four-wheel drive vehicle, occurred at 12.08pm.

“Initial investigations found that the driver of the car, aged 37, was heading to vote in Skudai.

“While taking a bend, the car skidded in the opposite direction (towards Mersing) and collided head-on with the other vehicle,” he said in a statement today.

Due to the collision, the man and his 31-year-old wife died at the scene. Their daughter, who suffered a broken leg, was taken to Kota Tinggi Hospital for treatment.

The 60-year-old driver of the four-wheel-drive vehicle escaped unhurt.
