
The nine key officers are the attorney-general, inspector-general of police, chief justice, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner, armed forces chief, chief secretary to the government, Treasury secretary-general, auditor-general, and the Bank Negara Malaysia governor.
GTA chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad said this was necessary to free the country from corruption, money politics, and abuse of power.
The coalition also promised to establish a royal commission for integrity and anti-corruption.
It pledged to carry out legal reforms such as enacting a political funding law and legislation to regulate political parties.
GTA also pledged to formulate a food security and energy blueprint as well as strengthen the nation’s climate change strategy and biodiversity conservation.
GTA added that it would help the B40 and marginalised groups to gain support and access to higher education.
It also promised to minimise the cost of care for the elderly and children through government support.
