Give PN one term to govern and prove itself, Hadi tells voters

The PAS president says PN must be given the mandate as the coalition’s candidates have a clean track record.

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said throughout PAS’ rule in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah, the state governments had been free of wrongdoings, including corruption.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Perikatan Nasional (PN) deputy chairman Abdul Hadi Awang has asked the electorate to give the coalition a chance to govern Malaysia for one term so that its performance can be evaluated.

Hadi, who is also PAS president, said PN must be given that mandate as the coalition’s candidates had clean track records.

PN comprises Bersatu, PAS, Gerakan, Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) and Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP).

Hadi said it had been proven that throughout PAS’ rule in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah, the state governments had been free of wrongdoings, including corruption.

“Give us (PN) one term to govern the country and see what we can do, and if proven wrong, then vote us out in GE16.

“It’s not that difficult, really. We don’t have any record of cheating the people,” he said at a meet-and-greet session with Titiwangsa PN parliamentary candidate Dr Rosni Adam in Desa Pandan here today.
