After arriving at the Batu nomination centre at 8.44am, the Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate accused Tian Chua of being selfish.
Tian Chua arrived at the nomination centre at SMK Sentul Utama earlier this morning.
The former PKR vice-president was the Batu MP from 2008 to 2018 but was unable to defend his seat in 2018 when he was disqualified on nomination day.
PKR named Prabakaran to defend the seat he won as an independent in GE14 before joining the party.
With Tian Chua throwing his hat into the ring, the Batu seat is expected to see a crowded field, with big names like MIC vice-president A Kohilan Pillay and Gerak Independent’s Siti Kasim in contention.
There will also be nominees from Perikatan Nasional (PN), Warisan, Pejuang, Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM), and independent candidates in the running.
