“We have decided that there will be no personal attacks against our opponents when campaigning,” he said after candidates for the Rembau seat filed nomination papers at the Seri Rembau Hall here.
“The focus throughout the campaign will be on approaching as many voters as possible in Rembau,” said Mohamad, better known as Tok Mat. He added BN election workers cannot afford to be complacent.
The former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar is in a five-cornered fight in Rembau. The other candidates are Perikatan Nasional’s Nazree Yunus, Pakatan Harapan’s Jufitri Joha, PSM’s S Tinagaran and Pejuang’s Ramly Awalluddin.
Meanwhile, Mohamad reminded voters to choose the party with the best track record and experience in managing the country.
“Since 2018, all parties have been given the opportunity to form a government.
“During these past four years, we have been able to see who should be given the mandate to govern the country,” he said.
“Make sure that the government that is formed is stable. The country needs a stable government as we had before.”
