JERANTUT: Pahang Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has announced that up to 70% of the coalition’s state candidates for the 15th general election (GE15) will be made up of new faces.
He said the official list of BN candidates for the state would be announced in Kuantan tomorrow.
He said this to reporters after an appreciation ceremony for students who excelled in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2021 examination at the Jerantut Advanced Technology Training Centre here.
He was confident the state candidates chosen would be able to ensure victory for BN.
The Election Commission has set Nov 5 for nominations, Nov 15 for early voting and Nov 19 for polling.
BN is expected to announce its list of candidates for parliamentary seats in Kuala Lumpur tonight.
