PETALING JAYA: PKR adviser Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is moving from the Pandan seat in Selangor to contest nearby Bandar Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur.
Her daughter Nurul Izzah Anwar will seek re-election in Permatang Pauh, which has been held by the family since 1982.
Wan Azizah, who was former deputy prime minister, will contest the Kuala Lumpur seat for the first time, after winning in Pandan, Selangor, with a whopping 52,543 majority, against four others.
Nurul won the Permatang Pauh seat with a 15,668 majority defeating candidates from Umno and PAS.
They were among 72 parliamentary candidates announced at a party event in Ampang last night.
