State PH chief Adly Zahari said this was on condition that the “parachute” candidates are able to provide the best service to the people of Melaka.
“This coalition is national. Therefore, when it comes to parliamentary seats, there are no state borders that prevent us from serving the people. So, we are looking for candidates who are able to provide services to the community,” he said.
He told this to reporters after attending the “Jelajah Mega Harapan Negeri Melaka” programme and the launch of the Taman Sungai Petai Permai PH election machinery by PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim, who is also PKR president.
Adly said the names of PH candidates in Melaka would be announced when Amanah gives its proposed list, which is expected to be by Oct 30.
He added that the candidates would comprise old and new faces.
