SEREMBAN: All state Umno liaison committees have submitted their list of prospective candidates for the general election, said Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan.
However, not all those listed would be selected as election candidates.
“This is the first round, we acknowledge the nominated list, The headquarters would evaluate the candidates and not only the people listed would be evaluated, said Mohamad, popularly known as Tok Mat.
“For the party, victory is our top priority. If the candidate can deliver us a win, we will let him represent the party,” he told reporters after a meeting of the Negeri Sembilan leadership today.
