And he dreams of getting a prosthetic arm and being able to drive a car.
He has passed his driving test but can’t get a probationary driving licence because he needs a vehicle modified for disabled drivers.
But he can’t get a car loan because he doesn’t have a licence.
“I hope the road transport department (JPJ) will look into this as it is one of the main problems for the disabled when applying for a driver’s licence,” he said.
Radha lost his right arm when he was six. He fell off a train, and it ran over his arm. He says has never let his disability stop him from trying to live a normal life but there are times he wishes some things were different.
He used to make his food delivery rounds on a bicycle – until other food delivery riders chipped in to buy him an electric scooter.

When his scooter couldn’t be used for three days, Radha made his deliveries on foot – and shot to fame after a social media posting praising his determination went viral.
“I’m not looking for sympathy. Everyone has to work to earn a living. People think I’m struggling (because of what I do) but I love this job because there’s freedom and I can buy what I want. I enjoy it,” the 34-year-old told FMT.
Strange looks and unkind remarks about his disability are painful, provoking bouts of self-consciousness every now and then.
“Sometimes a small child sees me and says ‘this man doesn’t have an arm’. That hurts me. Sometimes I don’t even want to look in the mirror. I have to go really close just so I can comb my hair.”
But other food delivery riders were kind to him from the outset.
“They got together and bought me a three-wheeled electric scooter and I used it for six months while saving up for a regular electric scooter,” he said.
He uses both as it takes time to charge the scooters’ batteries. “So with two scooters, it’s easier for me.”
Radha said he applied to the welfare department for a prosthetic arm when he was 21 but has yet to receive a reply.
