District police chief Iqbal Ibrahim told Bernama RM264,790 in compound fines had been collected up to 4pm today and a total of 2,392 traffic summonses settled since the tour began yesterday.

The 50% discount does not apply to non-compoundable offences, cases already mentioned in court, heavy vehicles, and emergency lane offences.

It also does not apply to those booked for overtaking dangerously and on double lines, beating the red light and for exhaust modifications.
